Jewelry Care

  1. For jewelry with pearls, it is especially important to avoid perfume, cosmetics, water and household chemicals, as they can damage the delicate surface of the pearl. Remove jewelry before showering, washing hands or swimming and store pearl pieces separately to prevent scratches.
  2. Silver may naturally darken over time due to air and moisture. Clean gently with a soft polishing cloth.
  3. Store jewelry in a dry place, preferably in a pouch or jewelry box.
  4. Remove jewelry during sports or heavy activity. Sweat may speed up oxidation.
  5. Sometimes silver may leave a dark mark on the skin. This happens because of a natural reaction between silver and substances on the skin such as sweat, cosmetics, lotions or the natural pH of the skin. It does not mean the jewelry is fake. The mark is harmless and can be washed off with soap and water.
  6. Handmade jewelry may have small irregularities or variations. This is a natural part of the handcrafted process and the design.
